We are back from our Colorado trip and Dezi did pretty good for the 10 hour turned 14 hour drive with a baby. Dezi seemed to adapt to the elevation change without any issues. He really did better on the drive home. Melissa had a couple 11 days to enjoy the rest of maternity leave upon returning home and now it is back to work. Melissa had taken Dezi to day care a couple of days this week for a short period of time just to ease into the change. I think it was more for Melissa than Dezi. Friday the 4th is back to work for Melissa and the first full day for Dezi in day care. Neither one of us are really excited about leaving him all day but it is what it is. The challenges of parenthood.
Here are some updated pictures of Dezi. His trip to Colorado and some new pictures from the past week. Dezi will be 12 weeks old tomorrow.

I hope everything goes good for Dezi. I know it is going to be hard for you guys but as you said... This is part of the challenges of parenthood.
